Rearranging a class is super easy, using the TeamUp members App or Browser.

For Bronze, Silver or Gold monthly members. The class you rearrange must be within the same month of the class you have unbooked and can be any valid class or open practice.

For termly members, you an rearrange the class within the validity of the term, ie before the term expires.

Terms & Conditions of rearranging a class:

All our aerial and pole classes are booked in advance to ensure we abide by health and safety laws and our code of ethics which ensures 2 people per equipment and a safe number of people in classes. In the unfortunate event you can not make a class you have booked, we offer you the chance to rearrange a class to ensure you don’t lose out on classes or your training.

1 – The ‘rearranged class’ can be taken at any time within the month it was missed (monthly members) or within the expiry of the class pack, it can even be taken in advance of the class you are rearranging.

2 – The ‘rearranged class’ is booked in advance, we ask for a minimum of 12 hours notice to rearrange a booked class.

3 – The ‘rearranged class’ can be booked yourself via TeamUp browser or app.

4 – A booked class cannot be rearranged if you do not show up, in this situation you forfeit the class.

5 – All our classes booked are bound by our terms and conditions.

We recommend attending one class per week when you first start, and the pass is very flexible so you can book as suits your schedule/shifts and also around any holidays/time off.

Class prices vary according to the way you book. All prices of our passes and memberships are shown on our booking page. If you’re enjoying the classes, maybe consider purchasing a membership – the cost per class comes down significantly. See our membership page for more details.

All Blush Adult classes can be found on the timetables page. The kids classes are at the kids website page. Please be aware that many classes sell out in well in advance so we recommend booking ahead.

The class sizes vary but whatever the class size, we maintain a strict ratio of students to teachers. We always make sure there are sufficient teachers to give everyone the attention and guidance they need and that there is ample equipment to go round.

Students work as a maximum of 2 people per piece of equipment.

We have 6 pieces of equipment maximum in our classes, therefore a max of 12 per class.

Some classes have less equipment so class sizes are smaller. You can view this and the available spaces on our live booking page.

All jewellery and watches need to be taken off (even wedding rings) and long hair should be tied back to avoid getting tangled on the equipment.

Aerial Silks & Hoop
For Aerial Silks & Hoop try to avoid loose fitting clothing or anything with zips or fasteners. Cover your arms, knees and your midriff. Cotton fabrics are best to wear with aerial silks than shiny lycra. The Aerial Hoop can get a little nasty on your knees and hips so maybe consider doubling up the leggings/layers on your first classes.

Pole Fitness
For Pole Fitness bare skin helps us stick, so the opposite for this class. We recommend T shirts/vests for starters and then shorts are great when you want to sit on the pole. However shorts are not everyone’s choice especially when it’s cold or our legs are not yet beach ready! We get it. It’s important you feel comfortable, so we often wear leggings/tracksuit over shorts. This also helps for warm ups. You can whip the leggings off for the moves that require more leg grip and when you feel more confident (which we promise wont take long). Also don’t apply any fake tan, sun cream lotions, oils or moisturiser to your legs, hands or arms 24 hours before your class.

Heels Pole
For Heels Pole anything goes! Heels are useful, but not essential. It’s a dance class on a pole, so wear something you can dance and move in. We do recommend knee pads as lots of the moves involve kneeling/floorwork. You can purchase these at the studio or online and collect at the studio. Heels do add another layer to class. If you are not sure which heels to buy, see our which heels to purchase post for more information.

Aerial Silks
Aerial Silks is also generally done in bare feet as this gives you the best grip. You are welcome to wear socks for warm ups (for all disciplines) and the grippy ones are best to avoid any slippy feet on the floor in warm ups.

YES! Everyone’s a beginner at some point! We recommend coming down and starting with our FREE taster, no obligation! If the date doesn’t suit then choose a Beginner level class as these cater perfectly for, yes you guessed it – BEGINNERS! Just like you! And yes we have taught unco-ordinated beginners like you before, lots of them, and you can see how they are doing on our gallery and socials.

We use only properly tested equipment suitable for the purpose of supporting people, this includes people moving, spinning and dropping (intentionally)

The equipment we use is tested to withstand very high weight loads so we can confirm it is safe and that it will certainly withhold an adults weight and therefore there is no weight limit.

Aerial Hoop/Pole/Silks classes involve a great all body and brain warm up, then followed by learning suitably skilled moves/combos and routines on the equipment. When on equipment you are using body weight to perform exercises therefore likened to strength training program. However this is done whilst in the air, possibly even inverted! Which you can imagine adds a little more spice and other benefits too, but we are talking about fitness related ones so here goes.

Strength training not only builds strength, increases your lean muscles, improves muscle tone, and bone density. It also increases your metabolic rate. This means your body burns more calories when you aren’t even training. This boosts vital organ strength, and increases overall health.

If you incorporate Aerial / Pole Fitness into a regular work-out programme, you’ll see and feel the benefits in no time. You also absolutely do not need to attend the gym or another form of exercise to be suitable to join a class or train aerial/pole.

Yes, and it is free. There is plenty of parking available onsite. Even at busy times.

Of course. Visitors are welcome to Blush as long as they do not disrupt the class and keep out of the way of the lesson. But if you really want to see what it’s all about, we’d really recommend giving it a go for yourself!

Yes! And I am so glad you asked! Our instructors are very experienced and all are professionally qualified. You can see their qualifications and experience in our TEAM page. Their training and supervision is within Aerial Arts / Dance/ Gymnastics / Fitness and child safety.

We are an instructor training facility (the only one in the north for Spin City) and our senior coaches are tutors and assessors for Spin City Instructor Training. So you are definitely in experienced and safe hands!

We have a few important rules at Blush. One of those rules is our cancellation policy. With limited numbers to our classes, and spaces often in high demand, we require 12 hours notice to cancel and rearrange a timetabled class. This is so those on the waiting list can be notified with a suitable amount of time to prepare to attend in your space and the instructors can amend lesson plans/studio equipment as necessary to suit those attending. Giving this time frame means we can effectively manage our instructors, our customers, our marketing and our equipment to make sure they’re all in sync.

It’s embarrassing for us to have to turn people down when they ask us to bend the rules. So please don’t. We’ve heard all the excuses imaginable. So either be super creative and go for something truly original or don’t ask. Thanks.
